Exploration services
Exploration is where most of a project's risk is either removed or ignored. Our programmes are designed to answer one question as cheaply as possible: is there an economic deposit here, and how confident can we be? We combine remote sensing, field mapping and staged drilling so each phase only proceeds when the previous one has earned it.
Deliverables are written for the people who fund and permit projects — a defensible resource estimate, a geological model you can open in Leapfrog or Micromine, and a clear recommendation on whether to keep spending.
Exploration process
A typical greenfield programme runs in four stages over 12–24 months. Each has a go/no-go review with the client.
- Desk study, satellite imagery and regional geology compilation
- Field mapping, stream-sediment and soil geochemistry
- Ground geophysics (IP, magnetics) to define drill targets
- RC and diamond drilling with independent QA/QC on every batch
- Resource estimate and technical report
All core is logged, photographed and stored in a climate-controlled facility in Islamabad; clients receive a searchable digital core library at handover.
